A deviant post, finally! :-P ...And note how it has nothing to do with the two fanfics I summarized in my first journal entry. Oh well.

I was inspired to create this little piece after watching 'The Dark Crystal' the other night. I call it "Gelfling, Like Us" and it takes place about a year after the events in the movie. Jen and Kira have been living in the castle, guarding the Crystal of Light. They are happy, but not completely. Kira is questioning her feelings for Jen, and both are wondering about the possibility that more Gelflings could still be alive. When they learn that this could be true, they set out on a journey to find more of their kind. Through their they will become more confident and secure within themselves and each other.
